A shop that got found.
Master Team Automotive has fixed cars in West Melbourne since 1998. It was the first site I built, and it's the one with numbers.

Before
June 2026. A one-page site on a page builder, up for years.
- What Google could see
- Two pages. No page for any service, no page for any town, none of the labels search engines and AI assistants read.
- Reviews
- Over a thousand on a review service, none of them visible to Google. Four quotes pasted into the page by hand.
- Booking
- The appointment link returned an error.
- Visits from Google search
- About 35 a month, half of them people searching the shop's name.
The build
Eight days to launch, live 27 June 2026. Then a couple of weeks of fixes after.
- 37 pages
- One for each of 15 services, one for each of 8 towns from Rockledge to Palm Bay, one for each of 14 makes they work on. Written from what the shop actually does, not a template.
- The labels underneath
- Every page carries the structured data Google and AI assistants use to work out what a business is, where it is, and what it does. The old site had none.
- Reviews on the site
- The rating and the count, pulled in and shown, with a review link and a card for the counter.
- Fast on a phone
- Mobile speed score 99 out of 100 on Google's Lighthouse test, measured in June 2026.
- The owners' own accounts
- Google Business Profile, Search Console and analytics, all in the shop's name. They keep them if they ever leave.
Nine weeks later
Google's own numbers for the shop, matched window to window.
- Visits from Google search
- 35 a month to 146. Four times as many. Searches for the shop by name stayed flat, so the new visitors are people who didn't know it existed.
- Times shown in a Google result
- 2,800 a month to 25,600.
- New customers
- Up more than a quarter in the shop's own system, and that system only records where a customer came from about four times in ten.
- The owner
The phone's ringing off the hook with people who found us on Google, the website, AI.
The site is at masterteamautomotive.com. It's on the care plan: I keep the listing current and answer the reviews. Most months they have me write a post as well.
Two more
Same build, different businesses. Neither has a number yet worth printing.
- ThirdWave Benefits, Melbourne.

- An employee-benefits and Medicare practice. It was WordPress on a page-builder theme; since July 2026 it's twenty-one hand-built pages, one for each service, with the labels underneath and the listing set up. Too new to measure. When there are numbers, they'll be here.
- Swarmify.

- My own company: video hosting for websites, a hundred and fifty million plays a year. Its site moved off WordPress onto the same hand-built stack in June 2026, 147 pages. Not a Brevard shop, but it's where the way I build came from.
I'll write yours up the same way, good or bad, if you're one of the first five.
